Dawid Florczak

QA Lead / AI Engineer

I build AI-augmented QA flows that let teams ship faster and catch the bugs before users do.

A decade of owning quality

I have spent over a decade in QA. I build test automation frameworks, own release processes, and set up the pipelines that carry them. I have built two QA teams from the first hire and led both, at a software house and at a US insurance product. For the last two years the work has been AI-augmented QA, which means agentic test flows, reusable skills, and tooling wired into CI so developers can test their own code before it reaches review. I now build my own AI pipelines, and I help teams in two ways: a one-off QA audit, or longer hands-on work in their codebase. I also mentor in AI and QA.

Work with me

For teams

  • QA audit

A full read of how your team tests: coverage, flakiness, pipeline feedback time, and what is quietly costing you releases. You get the findings and the order to fix them in.

A team inheriting a suite, or one whose releases keep slipping

  • Ongoing consulting

Ongoing work on your test strategy, your automation framework or your CI. I work inside your codebase and your process rather than handing over a document.

A team building or rebuilding quality practice

For individuals

Mentorship built on written lessons and exercises you work through at your own pace, in Polish or English. Every course comes with two one-to-one calls with me, and you can book more whenever you want. An AI review agent reviews every pull request from your exercises, with no limit, so a bad habit gets caught before it sets in.

One-to-one mentorship, at your own pace

The ground floor of test automation: Git, a repository you can actually run, and a working local environment, so the first automated test is not the first obstacle.

    • Starting from zero on Windows 11 or macOS 14 and newer: Git, Node, VS Code and your own project on GitHub
    • Git day to day: branches, commits, pull requests, and undoing mistakes
    • Cloning a repository and getting its suite running locally
    • Node, package managers, and why versions are pinned
    • Your first test in TypeScript, and reading what the failure actually says
  • Playwright Foundations

Go from zero to a maintainable end-to-end suite: selectors that survive refactors, stable waits, and a framework your team will keep using.
